A meeting of the Penn State Alumni Association Central Indiana Chapter was held on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, 7:00 PM. Attendees: Ed, Eric, Howard, Brian, Chuck, Frank, Tim, Paul, Heather, Brad

   ·Went over some of Paul’s notes from last meeting

   ·Discussed Hole Sponsors – Ed has 1 check so far. Positive responses from others

Golf Outing - Advertising
   ·Ed emailed heavy hitters in Alumni Assoc, and Jack is working on Nittany Lion Clubbers
   ·Ed Emailed 30 vendors & Central Indiana Chapter Members
   ·Posted on Alumni website under “Events” so far
   ·Howard will call “Center for Travel” in State College to see about including Golf in their away game pkgs.
   ·Brian will contact Big Ten Network, he may have a contact
   ·How can we advertise this at Purdue possibly??
   ·Ed will email our membership again to ask about “general interest in event”
   ·Ed emailed 5 regional chapter presidents from: Cincy, Louisville, Dayton, Chicago, & Central Illinois - Possible travel to these outside chapter’s Summer meetings?
   ·Ed will email these presidents again to inquire about attending their meetings

Golf Outing Details
   ·Brian has checklist from Purdue Golf contact
   ·He also has a Golf Pkg prize from Chicago course and Adidas Jacket etc as prizes
   ·Brian is finding out about other Auction Items
   ·Brian has 2 PGA members @ Purdue to help out that day w/ Hole bets, issues etc.
   ·Ed will contact Charlene about Donating PSU items & ask about getting in touch w/ Graham Spanier’s office

Golf Outing Special Guests
   ·Heather will work on the Letter to Graham Spanier
   ·Eric has left Vmail w/ Blue Band director to see about Pep Band appearance
   ·Should we invite president of Purdue as well??
   ·Jack is still working on High Profile guests

Purdue Game
   ·Ed put in for 40 game tickets, but will contact Kelly to see how many extra we can order- Possibly sell them
   ·Tailgate for Saturday after is being coordinated by Frank, Pam, & Eric

Annual Meeting
   ·Will be held August 9, 2008, 6:00PM at Paul’s House - 7762 Sparrows Point Court Indianapolis, IN 46236
