Greetings Penn State Alumni, Students, Parents, and Friends! We have many exciting events approaching. We need your support in every way in order to make this another successful year!!!

The club continues to actively bring alumni and local students together. The club is extending honorary memberships to families of currently enrolled students. This will assist in bridging the gap between current students and alumni. We are also planning a student send off picnic for our 2006 freshmen. The club plans to be very involved over the next year in a fundraising initiative for our Scholarship program. We plan to award a scholarship for a local Penn State student in the fall of 2007.

On the social front, we are actively recruiting alumni, increasing the number of events to attract alumni and students, and creating a new realm of networking in the Capital District by bringing alumni together. Throughout the year we typically have many local events such as our annual dinner, a day at the Saratoga Racetrack, football viewing parties, and golf outings.

We plan to increase our communication to the club through the use of e-mail as well as our web site. Our alumni e-mail updates have allowed us to keep you informed without the significant cost of additional mailings. If you are not currently receiving the updates, send us your e-mail address and we will add you to the list.

I am hoping to meet many of the Alumni that I have not already met, as well as the current students, incoming freshman, and their families. Please join us at one or more of our upcoming events. We are looking forward to meeting you!
